about the film
Itty Bitty Titty Committee is an exuberant call to action and a feast for those who like to see dedicated women in guerilla action. Heavily influenced by 90s riot grrl videos and artwork, the film’s Super 8 and Super 16 colors and energetic soundtrack allude to the fast changing moods of life when you’re young. Anna has just been dumped by her girlfriend and rejected by her college. When she is not answering phones at the LA cosmetic surgery she works at, she is brooding at home. That is, until one night she spies on sexy Sadie spraying away on the office walls, and gets invited to her first C(I)A (Clits in Action) meeting. The C(I)A is about inspiring women in anarchic and artistic ways. Itty Bitty is not just about acts of public disturbance. It is about the relationships of a tight-knit group of women, with all the romance, conflicts, intimate dynamics and chaos that entails. An absolute crowd pleaser, Itty Bitty pulls off the feat of poking fun at its lovable characters while never entirely abandoning the question of how best to create social change.
