synopsis

This multi screen video art project is about the documentation of specific places and areas in Istanbul focusing on the opposites such as east - west, night - day, old - new, traditional - modern, wealthy - poor etc. based on the conflicting aspects of the cultural, urban, aesthetical and architectural patterns which co-exist in the city.

about the director

Ozan Adam (Ankara, 1976) lives in İstanbul. He studied art and cinema in New York. His films, videos and artwork have been selected, screened and awarded by international festivals, galleries and museums.
